Late October New Crafter Update

It's been a while since I've written an update on brand new Magpie crafters/artists! So much to show you all!

I'm so happy witness these beautiful toys by local crafter Abby Glassenberg because it diminishes my greatest fear: that when/if kids come along there will be no more time for crafting! But Abby manages to do it so well that she even named her company and blog "While She Naps" beacuse she sews while her adorable baby girl sleeps. While we're on the subject of amazing handmade toys-- check out these totally unique and adorable creatures by Kristina of Landalalas. They even come with a pocket built-in to each one to hold your iPod or TV remote or what-have-you.




Meagan from Fussy Gussy has an eagle eye for cool fabric which she then sews into placemats, potholders, purses and more. (And she's another local crafter to boot!)




Albertine Press is a local letterpress company who also creates their own cards besides providing their letterpress services to others. Here's just one example of the cool cards we're selling for them at Magpie.


We sometimes think we need to rename Magpie "T-shirts-R-Us" because we just can't resist well-designed shirts and our t-shirt rack is busting at the seams. Here's our latest new t-shirt designer Red Prairie Press. We have a whole bunch of their great designs but here are just a few examples.
